The Rolling Stones Dig Into Vault For Marquee Club 1971

On June 23 The Rolling Stones will issue The Rolling Stones From The Vault: The Marquee - Live In 1971 on video and audio in multiple formats and on iTunes via Eagle Rock. The new release features a sought-after, rare club performance from the band filmed in 1971 at London's famed Marquee Club.

The Stones' 1971 performance at Marquee Club was filmed for US television and came about a month before the release of Sticky Fingers. The lineup of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman and new guitarist Mick Taylor debuted a number of songs that night including "Brown Sugar," "Dead Flowers," "Bitch" and "I Got The Blues."

Very little footage from that night has been released in the past. The band dug into its vault for the new release which features carefully restored footage and sound mixed by the legendary Bob Clearmountain, including 5.1 surround sound on the DVD and SD Blu-ray formats.
